Provide water access to over 200 Families. A clean water source was created with the launching of Fountain of Hopes Pig Husbandry Program. Unfortunately, that water cannot be accessed to the many families in need as it is within the space needing to remain sanitary and secure from humans for the welfare of the pig program.

  • With a little capital, 3 new water sources can be created to relieve the need. Benefits would include: Covid-19 risks mitigated by shortening time in line and length of lines.

  • Children who are now tasked with waiting in long lines sometime through the night will be able to return to school.

  • Over all safety and wellbeing of the camp will improve as the hours for getting water will be shortened.

to fund this vital opportunity We are looking to raise $4,500 total

Tamil Region, Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka: primary school orphanage

Sri Lanka Black Pepper.jpg

A nonprofit in Sri Lanka serving poverty populations by providing necessities to starving families is looking to expand operations through a sustainable business model. The program plans entail the purchase or long-term rental of property on which various crops can be cultivated. The main crops to cultivate would be tea, black pepper and cinnamon. The community this project will serve will be the Tamil region of Sri Lanka where most children are unable to receive an education, and don’t have a chance to learn the national language. The project will employ 10 families and additional proceeds from the enterprise will support a primary education school where Sinhalese (the native Sri Lankan language) will be taught to the children as well as English to expand their possibilities for employment in the future. Additionally, reproductive health and the value of educating women will be taught to the families employed to help them fight poverty within their own families.

We are looking to raise $60,000 for this project
